 Welcome!
Welcome From the Chair Welcome to the Underwriting Interest Group Web site. We welcome your feedback whether you are one of our 1200+ members, or even if you are just stopping by for a visit.

Our objectives of the Underwriting Interest Group are to:

(1) provide timely information to our membership;

(2) provide educational material to our membership;

(3) provide career development tools to our membership; and

(4) provide networking opportunities to our membership.

We seek to add value to the CPCU designation by targeting content that is specific to the Underwriting discipline. Stay for awhile, click around the pages, use what is here. When you are done feel free to contact me or any of our committee members with feedback. We look forward to being a resource to you.

 New Report on Climate Change

The Chartered Institute of Insurance recently completed a report on Climate Change.  Our knowledge of the environment in which CPCU Society members operate is critical to the development of Society services.  The Society is working on an educational workshop/webinar on topics associated with this issue and the Underwriting Interest Group wished to share an Executive Summary of this report with it's members.  The full report is available on the CII website.   View the Executitve Summary report here
